Fashionable or not, concept products are things that people are always eager to explore. They are named 'concept' mainly because that they are specially designed with wonderful innovation. Recently, Cartier introduced a Cartier ID One concept watch, showing that they not only produce timepieces with fancy designs, but also master the technological capabilities to surpass their competitors with innovative watches. To be honest, I'm totally attracted by the new distinctive model, and I decided to share it with you.
As soon as I mention the words ID One, you may be a little vague: what do they mean? Actually, the word I means innovation, and the word D means development. Now take a good look at the item. The watch is set in a 46mm Ballon Bleu style case. Carbon Crystal, the extremely hard, diamond-like material effectively enables the escapement to be oil free. Attention, the watch does not require any adjustments! For the watchmaking industry, it is really a great breakthrough. Cartier once reported that it is the first ever wristwatch that is free from regulation - no adjusting the balance wheel screw, no adjusting the balance spring or modulating its active length, and no adjusting the position of the paddles on the anchor.
We have to admit that Cartier is really capable of creating extremely advanced design. Apparently, the watch is really a masterpiece. While, it is said that it will not be sold in commercial market. What a great pity! Nevertheless, the new release will have a positive effect to the brand.
